Well we got some snow this week it didn't last long but it was pretty. I  got one pic on my phone and then dennis took some in between taking care of our sick baby! Here are some pics.

Valentines day

This is gonna be a long post!! The weekend before Valentines Day my hubby was very good to me!!  Friday night we went to walmart at midnight to get Breaking Dawn!! He said he would go by himself but I went too!!! I got the movie, a very pretty key chain, and a new washer and dryer!!! He is so good to me!!

I was so excited!! No more hauling clothes to moms house.

Saturday while shopping for our Washer/Dryer we took Sadie to McDonald's and she had her first happy meal!! We have always just shared with her but we decided since she was 2 she needed her own meal! I can't believe my baby is so big!!

Saturday Night Michael, Twila, and Alex came over. We ate homemade pizza and watched breaking dawn! It was an awesome movie!! And I didn't get a picture but Aunt La La (twila) brought Sadie a  Love bug (lady bug with candy in it) and Sadie loved it! we called it her "buggie" and she carried it everywhere. She has even slept with it the last two nights !!

On Actual Valentines day i got a wonderful surprise! A beautiful bouquet of flowers from my bestest friend in the whole world!!!

It was also joey's birthday, so i picked him up from school with balloons hanging out the window and a big poster on the side of my car!!

Circus

Nana took all of us to the circus. This was Sadie first time to go to an actual circus. We went to a small one in Nashville last summer but wow, i don't think you could even call that a circus. Anyways, she HATES clowns!! She did not like it at all when they were doing there numerous acts. She reminds me so much sometimes of my sweet nephew Alex.  She doesn't like clowns just like him, and she always wants to be outside getting dirty, is very stubborn, and can have an attitude. But i think if she turns out to be half as good of a kid as Alex she is gonna be OK!! She loves her Alex very much.

Anyways to get back to the circus story, She wanted very badly to be around the horses. So we got her a ticket to ride, I was terrified we had wasted our money but she loved it! Lily was more scared than her! She had a blast! I got a couple of pics but they aren't great because i was walking beside her and they were taken by my cell phone!!

Not Much Happening

Well there hasn't been much going on lately. Sadie is starting to talk a whole lot more. She is saying stuff out of the blue, hopefully she will be starting therapy soon and then she will really be on a roll!! She is still growing like a weed! She is currently in 18month to 24month/2t clothes, which is amazing because she is almost where she should be. He legs are long but her waist is little. So if the pants don't have the elastic in the inside to make them smaller then  the pants are either long enough and falling down, or staying up but way to short!! poor thing.

She is definitely a loving child. Here is my baby!

Speech Appointment

Well last Friday the 3rd we took Sadie to ACH for her speech evaluation. Sadie did not like having to get up early at all! We left my house at about 5 am. We wanted to make sure we had plenty of time to get there with  traffic and all.  We made it about an hour early so we stopped at Cracker Barrel and ate some breakfast!!  We went back to our therapist, her name was Ashley and she was so nice. She just asked us some questions while Sadie played with some toys. While she was playing Ashley was listening to her babble trying to determine which sounds she could make. Then she did some "standardized" testing on her. After that we talked about the results. Ashley said she is delayed in her "speech" but as far as comprehending was she would ask Sadie and her responding properly she is perfect. She said she thinks that Sadie just needs a little boost and then she will take off like a rocket. So I was very happy to hear her say "she is very smart" which I already knew but I like to hear others say it!! ha ha So hopefully in a few weeks she will start some therapy.  Sadie is getting better day by day We are working with her very hard.
