Sadie's Weekend

This past weekend Sadie started saying a bunch of new words. Which of course doesn't surprise me, we get an appointment scheduled for her speech evaluation and she starts say more! ha ha But I am just glad that she is saying more!  Saturday morning we got up and went to mam and paps for breakfast. while over there pap was talking to Sadie and next thing you know  she says "I don't know". It was so sweet! Then Sunday as we were getting ready for church we were singing Jesus Loves Me, because she was wearing her Jesus loves me bows from Aunt La La. And she was singing along with me (which you couldn't understand anything) and then I heard Jesus clear as day!! I was definitely a proud momma. 

After church we had our 5th Sunday Potluck and Peyton sat with us. She was trying to get Dennis's attention so she was saying "DG, DG, DG" well next thing you know Sadie is saying it!!

We are going to ACH Friday morning at 8:30 for her Speech Evaluation. I am sort of nervous for what they are going to say!!

On the actual day of Sadie's birthday we got up and got ready for church!!! It was going to be a wonderful day. At church we gave Sadie the best present ever, Dennis and I were batized at church. It was amazing! After services we have a going away potluck for Deb & Sid Smith.  After we got home from church we played with our baby girl!! Then we went to Mams & Paps and got ready to eat. To celebrate Sadie's birthday again Mam made pot roast and boy was it great!!! Then after supper we let sadie eat her smash cake and get another gift from momma and daddy!!! Here are some pics

Sadie's 2nd Birthday

Sadie's favorite cartoon for the past year has been Chuggington!! She loves it. If she is in another room and hears the song start playing she will drop what she is doing and come running. So this year we decided that we would do her birthday in Chuggington!! I did the same thing as last year and decided I was going to make all the decorations again because it was so much fun last year and I memory that I will always get to cherish!! I thought it turned out cute, and as always her cake was awesome and we made some amazing punch this year!! all in all everyone had a blast!!!

Better Late Than Never!!!

Here is some pictures from Sadie's Christmas!! I don't have any from my mom's house on this Camera because it was a gift from her! So it was the last thing i opened!!

ENT Appointment

Well Sadie went to see Dr. H at the ENT clinic at ACH.  I really like him, he is always very friendly and explains everything so well! Sadie on the other hand is at that stage where she doesn't like anyone in scrubs!! haha.  Well he was concerned about her swallowing problems and her speech. He decided to go ahead and run some tests while we were there. The clinic sent us over to the Audiology girls and they did 3 different hearing test on Sadie. She passed all of the with flying colors Yay!!! Then we went back to the ENT clinic where they got Sadie ready. They decided to go ahead and stick a scope up her nose and down her throat to look at her vocal cords and epiglottis to make sure they were structurely fine and to double check to see if she has Laryngomalacia.  She DOES NOT have it!! yay!!! and structurely her vocal cords are fine just inflamed. He recommended some speech therapy to get her started!!! So now we are waiting until Feb. 3rd for her appointment with the speech people at ACH.  Her 2 year old stats are 22 lbs. and 32.5 inches long!! My baby is getting bigger and bigger!! Momma loves you!!

Long time since last update!!

Well since I last updated I have had back surgery and been off work for six months! That was a very rough experience for our family but we are slowing getting back on track.  Our Sweet baby girl thoroughly enjoyed all of her 2nd holidays this year!! I will post pics from Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in a few days!! 

Our Sweet Girl just turned 2!!! Her party was a huge success!! I will post pics soon!! We are doing great so far this year in 2012!!
